My boyfriend smokes weed then forgets plans with me? don’t know what to do?

He will happily make a plan with me early in the day and then all of a sudden it gets to the evening or midnight and he’s so stoned? He never used to be as bad as this I’m kind of confused? Then he literally falls asleep. He has so much energy and enthusiasm then the evening/night time he literally sounds half dead and stands me up to smoke with his cousin. Will this ever change? Has anyone experienced this? I can’t really tell him to stop because that’s hard. He gets so lazy?

I know, I fought the same habit, wait until his tolerance gets higher and he starts buying more, it's like 10 dollars for a gram of it, a gram is usually 1 smoke session so overtime it all adds up to a lot of money, I wasted thousands personally and the saddest thing is that they won't ever change unless they want too, luckily for him he has a girlfriend that can possibly help him before shit gets worse, try convincing him to quit
