What does support and facilitate mean? My wife said she would support and facilitate a situation. I am not quite sure what that means.

To facilitate something basically means to make sure it happens by offering related resources and assistance, like facilitating your cousin's birthday party plans by letting him have it at your place, which is larger and nicer.

That said, I'll assume support in this instance refers to moral support, encouragement, etc. Could possibly imply financial assistance.

Not the greatest examples, but the phrase implies she's significantly helping the thing to happen.
