I was wondering if this is normal or something i need to be concerned about.

My boyfriend and i just went on a 1 year anniversary trip Friday-Sunday. When we went back to his house he asked if i could leave before dinner. He usually is an independent guy and like his alone time but i kind of felt sad. Usually i spend Sundays at his house into Monday.

Before any questions come up, we’re 24. He lives on his own with a roommate.

It seems strange that he sprang that on you out the blue rather than telling you hours before or even when you were planning the weekend. I would keep a close eye on him in case he is seeing someone else and the reason he wanted you to leave unexpectedly early.

Doesn't sound weird. He just wanted a little alone after a weekend and before he goes back to work Monday. You're concerned for nothing I think.

Well it’s normal if you know he enjoys his space. You just got back from vacation, it’s ok to give him a break for the night.
