Just start gentle and make some friends with whom you can hang out, ideally both men and women. Fill up your calendar with events where you hang out, throw a home party even if your home is very modest. Don't make getting a woman your #1 goal. It's even better for getting women usually if you don't.

Honestly... go to Thailand you will meet tons of people wanting to talk and make freinds
