Isn’t it so sad when people love each other for most of their lives and then it comes to an end?

I randomly turned on HBO and the famous author David McCullough was on a special and he and his wife both died last year. And they were together since he was 17. I find it so sad.😔

That is impressive. Most marriages don't last past 5 years. Seems marriage doesn't really mean that much anymore. No one wants to put in the time and effort that it takes to make a successful marriage. When things get tough, they call for divorce. Makes you wonder where their minds and hearts were when they got married? I would bet none of them had a long engagement and probably jumped right in without looking.

Oh, of course, shit happens. So I guess statistically speaking the longer you live, the more likely that will happen. I just mean that there are scientists and researchers who think that essentially immortality is possible in the not too distant future.
