Guy coworker who was and is still is very supportive to me, decided to sign up for a different work schedule which he got approved he was on my team?

He got it approved yet we was/are so close and he likes me yet he decided to get the new schedule, so does it basically mean he really didn’t care for me? He just always would check up on me never can get his eyes off of me even said one time that if I quit than he will leave too yet here he is going to a different schedule where I won’t see him every time as I used too, so basically he really doesn’t care about it is what it means? He pretended or what bc I’m literally just hurt he always made my day and it seemed like I made his bc I was the first person who is always approached too and if I was upset or didn’t talk to him he would ask my friend or his friend why I’m not talking so I don't know

You need to grow up. I don't know if you realize it but your whole spiel is all about you and how hurt you are. But what about him? What if the change just works better for his schedule or life in general? He can’t operate his working life around you, a coworker, and miss out on better opportunities to spare your feelings. You two aren’t in a relationship or close on that level, you don’t even do anything off the clock for goodness sake. I’m not trying to make you feel bad, but just keep things in perspective here. He was a work friend, still is a work friend. It’s all good.

It almost certainly has nothing to do with you, and just means he wanted a change. What do you want? If you want to date him, ask him.
