Why my crash started to be mean to me?

We had good relation but always been a bit distant. Always on professional - sometimes friends way. I thought he likes me so I asked him out but he did't agree, so I move on... Life goes on and I come back to my ex, he started to act mean sometimes even rude towards me. We work together so it's sometimes challenging. I felt that he was really interested in my 'relationship status' because he asked me every time he saw me how its going etc. I also think he avoiding me, but in the same time sometimes he come and tap my back when he want say bye. overall i think he wasn't interested (maybe a little , he never give us a chance and now he is mad? why? can someone help me understand)

Why dont you straight up ask him this question? Just be direct towards him and ask him why he acts this way now all of a sudden 🤷‍♂️

When you wanne know something from a guy, just take the easy way and ask him without beating arround the bush. Guys are simple minded.
