Do you believe in being friend after a love relationship?

I have a long discussion with someone about this question...

Actually two years ago I was the most believer in Friendship after relationship, But I had the lesson.. so what do you think?

Counting my fiance I have only had four serious boyfriends in my life and I am not really friends with any of the previous three.

The first one, we say we're friends and we are social media "friends" but we never see each other in person despite living pretty nearby each other. The reason is I hurt his feelings (he said I broke his heart) when we split up and it's been weird since then.

The second one I feel emotionally abused me and I dislike and fear him and wouldn't want to be in the same place as him. The third one I feel physically abused me and then stalked me and I might call the police if I thought he was following me around. Thankfully both of these situations are years in the past now and nothing has happened for a long time.

I have gone on one or two dates with some other guys who I would not consider exes and they are sort of like that first boyfriend I mentioned except less intense, we are "friends" but don't actually hang out together or anything.

I would like to be friends with exes in a perfect world but it doesn't usually work out that way it seems! Or maybe I am the problem!

I should clarify when I said I think one of them physically abused me, I am talking about one sexual incident that he might not have considered abuse, I am not talking about somebody beating me up multiple times, maybe I should have worded it differently.

I'm sorry for hearing that... don't be sad cause everyone will find his actions back to him one day especially people like him...
They weren't deserve you.. and you always deserve who appreciates you and gives your presence great importance.
