Anyone else feel a failure for not having a partner by the time they are 30?

The only true failure is a failure to act. As long as you are learning from your experiences, each new choice you make can have a greater likelihood of leading to success. Though you may be focusing on childbearing, the quality of a relationship isn't based on age. Anyone can find someone special to create and nurture a healthy relationship with at any age.

Though I still haven't found my special connection (as I find most people to be too self-focused and entitled), I haven't stopped living my life. I continue focusing on what has value to me and gives me a sense of self-worth. I live a full life. Yes, I'd love to share my life with someone special, but I refuse to put my life on hold while waiting for the right one to appear.

I also felt a bit of time pressure to get married by 30. When a girlfriend dumped me at 28 it hurt double in a way. I suppose for a woman it can be more intense, though. In their 20s the women have all the cards stacked in their favor. By 35 it has turned around somewhat and men are having an advantage.

yes, it is a bad sign to be single at 30. our world is broken and the internet has made us all incompatible with eachother. used to be you walked into a room of 10 people and you had things in common with 6 of them.

Nope, I let the girl who love me go because I love her. I knew she can find happiness without me, earlier than being with me. Though I was wrong without asking for her opinions. We could have been together.

Love is more important than being "just a partner" to me.

Not a failure, no, but I have to admit that I'm surprised that I'm not married, myself. I always figured that I would be married at least and probably have a kid on the way, if not a second.

A "partner" sounds like you're afraid of commitment. It's better to not have a wife or husband than to be with the wrong person.
