I think that guy ain't a threat to you. Cuz if he one of her options, you wouldn't be with her. You are with her inspite of him being in her life longer than you means that you don't have to worry about him.

In all honesty, I wouldn't see him being a loner a reason for her to feel like she can't tell her friend about you. I have friends that are single or friends that are in relationships that tell me about their boyfriend/girlfriend. And as friends were happy for them. If she feels bad for him I understand that, could be why. But we don't know everything about this, I know you might think she doesn't want him to know she is taken because she might like him. But in all truth this will only be able to be worked through by talking more about it with her and trusting her after the fact. Unless you see anything that suggest otherwise or you want to trust your own gut on whatever you think. Think of what's best for you. Good luck ✌
