I commit a heinous crime that society would nearly all agree is FKd up, and my SO would say, I will always love you, even though you <...> to that little girl.

Unconditional love is not love, it's toxic.

Everyone has conditions, whether you acknowledge it or not. You must be loyal to me is a condition. Having an open relationship where one party is free to date or sex anyone while the other isn't is a condition.
