Since they need an emotional connection for attraction wouldn't it take longer for them to create a connection and cheat?

Less likely is difficult to answer to.

But since they require an emotional connection to feel sexual attraction, it also means you need to keep up the emotional connection with your part er.
And if not they might find that connection with someone else.

Basically it's the same as everybody else. If there is something in the relationship the person is lacking, then they might end up finding that somewhere else.
