Why do men who love their wife cheat on women they consider unattractive?

I knew somebody that had a really pretty and sweet wife. He has a side piece that was just average looking ans she was not very pleasant. I never really understood what was going on in his head

What made his side chick unpleasant and how did you know about her? Did he tell you? Where did they meet?

I met this guy when I was in the hospital. He was in for the same surgery that I had. His wife would come and visit and if I was there she always asked me how I was doing. One day this guy tells me that his girlfriend was coming. I figured if his wife was so pretty that I just had to meet his girlfriend. Well, she was nothing special and she was sort of snotty to boot. I do not know how they met.

If a person loves their SO, they do not cheat on them.

If a person finds someone unattractive, they do not do anything sexual with them.

It’s not about love of wife, or attractiveness. Just like serial killing and rapists aren’t in it for sex, really. It’s power. Control. Getting high on getting away with it.

I think men go after women like that because they are willing to do things in bed that their wives refuse to do.
