I've not had that impression really in real life. It's mainly been here on GAG where I've seen all this stuff about toxic feminism and the red pill. Before joining GAG I thought the toxic feminism had burned itself out and I didn't have any clue about the red pill and all that stuff. I have casual male friends from work and elsewhere that I get along with fine. I might not have always had smooth sailing with relationships but I never felt like we hated each other. I guess maybe sometimes it might have been a love/hate type of frustration that we had with each other but not full-on hatred.

But seriously, a lot of the hate is imaginary. One only needs to get to know someone in order to come to that realization. This goes for everything, not just genders, but it is a little difficult for someone who insists on being regarded as a victim to have the empathy needed to understand where others are coming from, so these sort of people have difficult "getting to know someone" even when in a relationship with them. That keeps the hate intact in their mind. Best to just avoid such people. It's sad their parents didn't raise them to take responsibility for their choices, instead going all in on developing the brain pathways for assigning blame, but it is what it is.. I blame right wing media, personally. The rise of people with nothing to say about why anyone should support their unpopular agenda meant they had to figure out some way to draw an audience without substance, and outrage/victimhood is what seems to have worked for them..

I think people who hate the other sex are really vocal, but I'm not sure the majority is like that. I'm a man, and I think misogynist men aren't so numerous (except after their break up). It's more:"dating market is complicated, I must be cautious, so why shall I care about women?" In some cases, it's more about making fun of people or trolling than real hate.

But, for many men, they feel there is like two sides, women's sides and men's sides, and few are on men's side but many more are on women's side nowadays. So, why shall be on women's sides. It's more indiferrence than hate.

Among women, I think there a lot of misandrists (people who hate or despise men). "Men are trash" is their motto. And many men don't like to be treated like that.

But Mankind is a species of mammals. And every mammal spiecies is pushed, by its biology, to mate to have an offspring. And mating needs a male and a female. It's not even conscious.

Both parties have to figure out what they are uniquely best at to trade for what they need most that the other party is good at, then limit the relationship to that trade.
