Boyfriend asks his parents for advice about my life situations?

My boyfriend has a habit of asking his parents advice about anything. He’s 26. For example, I am starting my own fitness classes and asked him to advice on a couple of things. He told me some advice and then said he will ask his parents their advice about how much to charge etc.

Is this normal for a guy to keep doing?

Depends. Do they have expertise of value? If you're trying to open a bakery and that's what my parents do for a living, I'm an idiot if i do NOT ask them stuff. If they're a mechanic, ok, but they still run their own business. If they work 9-5 in a cubicle i'm less sure what they bring to the table.

No. That means he's still pretty much a kid and dependant on his parents.

Like does his parents know anything about fitness classes? Did they set up classes before?
