Why is an older man seen as a pedo for wanting to date women in their 20’s?

Envy, mostly; women's power to attract men is front-loaded, and when it fades with age, many become bitter and resentful of younger women, who win the affections and attention of more desirable men. Since aging can't be undone, they have no power over the women- so they try to shame the men in compliance. Look at Leonardo Di Caprio.

The other big reason ALSO has to do with him, interestingly: the belief that women don't really have agency, and everything bad that happens is because of men. Titanic was, at the time, the most successful movie ever made. It's primary support came from two demographics: horny teenage girls lusting after the male lead, and horny middle-aged women lusting after the male lead. Leonardo was in his early 20's when that movie was made. How do you think it would have felt to have women old enough to be your mother hitting on you constantly? Kind of unpleasant after a certain point, sure, but not actually harmful. But he chooses to turn his attention to younger prospects, just like those women did, and look at the result- he gets blasted so hard and so often that even someone like me, who pays little attention to Hollywood and NO attention to shit-flinging, knows about it.

Now, this isn't to say that it's a good idea to date someone who could be your child, or that older women have nothing appealing about them, but the "he's just a pedophile" is sour grapes AT BEST. And really doesn't make you look good.

Usually a double standard brought on by older women. These older women may be jealous cause you don’t want them so they try to make you seem like the bad person. That you just want a younger girl so you can manipulate her. If she’s 18 she’s an adult, let her make her choice. Besides don’t they (women) say women usually mature faster than men? If that’s true then maybe her maturity level at 18 is that of a 26 year old. So if you’re 26 dating an 18 year old, mentally speaking you two would be on the same level lol
