Does zodiac signs really matter in a relationship? Do you believe in zodiac signs for finding a partner?

I think you asked the same question multiple times in the past. Or they were other admins maybe.

It's almost nonsensical to say "zodiac sign" because it's so incomplete, even for a person like myself who does not bother with astrology.

If you mean the sun sign then there are only 12 of them, like 12 months. So what is your criteria? Are you looking for one sun sign? Usually people have at least two preferred ones from what I've seen. That means 1/6 people on earth natch yoir criteria?

On the other hand, astrology can be extremely deep, to get detailed instructions for how to proceed in life, astrologers take in account the minute of the day that you were born in, and a few minutes makes a huge difference. Besides the astrology "houses", phases, and all the other crap that I don't remember the details of. There is usually numerology and other systems involved when people are trying to get something serious out of it.

To simply say "the zodiac sign" is total nonsense.

Astrology is like religion. Blindly believing will never take you in a healthy direction, as that tends to be more limiting than expanding of our perspective. That doesn't mean neither have anything to offer. They help us see and consider things we previously may have been unaware of. Astrology presents common patterns we may want to become aware of, yet it can't guaranty the future. I had my chart drawn up for me. I was amazed at how many things were spot on, yet there were also other aspects of the chart that stated the exact opposite. It's not about determining what to believe and what not to believe; it's about opening our eyes to become more aware of potential things that might impact us or the ones we love. If the weatherman says there's a 50% chance of rain tomorrow, that's not guarantying you'll get wet, but it may raise the likelihood of you taking an umbrella with you to work. The more we see, the easier it is to choose wisely.

I used to do bibliomancy and numerology readings cause I interpreted basically every single number that was in the bible and when I wanted God to answer a question, I would cast lots or flip to random bible verses three times and then calculate the symbols I got so that I would know how to predict the future but I don't do it even though I know how to. I don't need to predict the future since the bible tells you how to change it. And not even the bible, all religions on earth, have guidelines and even secular psychology has guidelines for good living, as well as philosophy teachers. I just think there is no reason I need an extra through zodiac or any other method of future predication. I'm so good at this I have even invented my own system, not one but at least 8 for interpreting the future using bible symbols but I consider that a waste of time. I don't even have time to study the bible as much as I should so I am not going to do any bible based divinations.

Okay here's my thing about the Zodiac and astrology. No I don't live by it I don't put a lot of stock in it, but I do pay attention to it and it does have some meaning to me.

For example when I start talking to a woman I go straight to her zodiac sign and see if it's compatible to mine. And I'll tell you straight up as soon as a woman tells me she's a water sign I already feel like it's not going to work out because I'm a fire sign. Earth signs are just too difficult. They are stubborn they are rooted they are grounded wherever that is and where they're at that is where they're going to stay. But if you're an air sign or a fire sign hell yeah let's get together.

Seeing as most western people don't have a freaking clue how to read the Zodiac properly - there was someone else on GAG that was saying because they had a Pisces moon they were easily manipulated when real Pisces moons are manipulators - you'd have to be pretty dumb to use the zodiac to pick a dating partner.

In eastern countries using the zodiac is a far different story because the people who reference the zodiac have been doing it for YEARS and in some countries - like India - there are even what could be called a "specialist" you'd go to for predictions.

I would not. Nature versus nurture. If the 'nature' portion is in place, the 'nurture' takes precendent. Example: Look at the different atittudes towards men/women/dating in various countries. And yet at MOST we only differentiate 1% of DNA. The rest must be environmental overlay.

I am an amateur astronomer and trust me if there is any influence from the stellar realm it is present and NOT at the time of birth. The Obstretrician had more affect on you than objects so far away as to boggle the imagination.

Note that only women put any stock into this fantasy nonsense because unlike men they don't have to live in reality. I love Leo men and I have noticed that throughout life I have been attracted to Leos but also other fire signs like Sagittarius and Aries to a lesser extent. I’ve never been attracted to any other signs but the attraction to Leos is literally magnetic. I’m a Taurus born right at the end of Taurus so they say I am an earth meets air cusp of Taurus-Gemeni though I have mostly Taurus traits. As an earth sign I encompass all the elements but I am most drawn towards fire.

I believe in it to a certain extent and so would somewhat choose a mate based on their zodiac sign. Like I would never be with a Gemini. I tried that and they are just horrible when it comes to relationships. All other signs I would maybe give a chance. Like I'm currently with a Sagittarius and we're not nearly as compatible as I would be with other signs like Virgos, Taurus, and Pisces but we're making it work despite that. I'm a Capricorn.

The zodiac, five elements, and star signs are bullshit determinations for relationships. Wood and metal do not work well together, nor do the ox and ram.
