Should my girlfriend pay for my food?

I’ve got my own house, I’ve got bills to pay for. I’ve not long spent 8 k on a holiday for myself and my two kids and when my girlfriend comes over, she only pays for her food. But she only stays over at weekends. Doesn’t give me any money for the bills. I earning more money than her. We do live 30 miles from each other and she is the one doing all the driving. when it comes to food we keep it 50/50 is this fair enough?

Brah, what. Why would she pay for half of your bills if she doesn't live there? Me and my boyfriend live together for a week every month and he wouldn't want me to pay for his rent. He also pays for my food and vast majority of the vacations and just cuz I insisted on giving him for half of the room. He also knew I make a lot less money then him and insisted on spoiling me cuz I'm his.
She could pay for your meal if she wanted to just like you could pay for hers if you wanted to. Here is not a matter of should

Rules are the same, you are not marries or share kids so each has their own money and can choose what to do with it. If she made more than you she wouldn't need you to pay for her, still would be a nice gesture to do so as well but you wouldn't owe her anything if you paid for yourself. If you find this to be such a problem I don't suggest you're still with her as it will bother you always anyway
