Yup.

Though kinda also depends if they're right. Sometimes passions can be taking you in the wrong direction.

But, assuming the passion is genuine and not damgerous, yeah I'd leave someone who was trying to stop me from pursuing my passions.

Life is too short not to. Chances are good I'll find someone new while pursuing said passion.

My best friend is going through this with his girlfriend , My best friend and I are brewing beer and we want to try to get our beer out there and market ourselves , His girlfriend is completely against our passion and trying to sabotage our journey , I told him to dump her ass if she isn’t going to support us when we clearly have a nice amount of people already supporting us , I think she is just jealous that his focus is on our beer and she is assuming the worst case scenario that he will meet someone else , Him and I talked the whole time while we were brewing about what she is saying to him and I told him dump her
