I think society is very used to, and accepting of, older man/younger woman relationships. It’s almost a cliché. In fact it’s so common that I could literally give a hundred examples here. Yet, when a older woman has a younger man (particularly more than a decade) it’s a oddity or novelty. I think women kind of regard it as exciting since the reverse is so common. Particularly because many, many, women feel their overall ‘worth’ declines with age. Have a younger man choose to be with them sort of validates their worth despite age. At least that’s how it seems to me.
bro I dont think a women's hypergamy ego will ever let them fall in love with younger men. hence why is not so common despite older men who go after younger women being labeled as creeps.
unless of course if he's hot as fuck. a prime example Jason Statham, he's 56 years old and his wife is 36. she's literally young enough to be his daughter

older man with younger woman has and always will be frowned upon. it doesn't matter how genuine the relationship is because the man will be assumed and framed to be the groomer/predator who uses manipulation tactics while the woman gets infantilized and treated like a dumb kid
on the other hand, an older woman with a younger man is more celebrated because the woman "still has it" and the man gets some pussy and he's treated more like an adult who can make his own decisions
