+1 yDefinition: A hopeless romantic is someone who continues to believe in love, no matter the struggles they might have experienced in the past. They choose to see the positive in relationships over the negative, believing wholeheartedly that love conquers all.
Yes, I would say I am a hopeless romantic.
Love is such a powerful driving force to me and I believe that true love really can overcome anything.
It’s a part of my soul—I’ll always be a loving being and I’ll always value love above everything else.
I believe deep down, what drives me to work so hard to improve myself and achieve my goals and dreams is so that I will feel worthy of love—to become the best version of myself, because I believe the best version of myself is worthy of love.
But love is given—it’s not earned.
It’s the best of gifts.
Yet, subconsciously, I want to make sure that I feel worthy of receiving it. And that’s probably why I work so hard—to feel worthy.
It’s just how I’m wired.43 Reply- +1 y
I suppose it’s kind of like the billionaire who grew up poor and never wants to be poor again.
I grew up with parents that had a loveless marriage, and I never want to experience that myself. - +1 y

Before i met the one...( Take three )
I found that " lets call it old school " romance is dying.
People are running around.. with their phones posting on twitter, facebook , instagram... No eye anymore for the real world. Talking about their " friends " online.
I like to walk in the woods, look up at night to see nature in all it glory. Sitting side by side close in the cold snow around a campfire warped together in a blanket getting warm..
Most of the people i know look at me as if i'm the complete idiot. Maybe i am an idiot but a romantic one...

I think outdoor & indoor picnics sound like a good idea. Making a picnic romantic just sounds cute to me! Now, how those turn out might be a different story all together, I'm sure.
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yI don't know, i think i used to be, but with how much i've been struggling and how i've been treated, not so much anymore.

+1 yYes and no. I can get fuckboys to fall in love with me very quickly but then I ghost them the next day and repeat.

@Jennz6 it’s the best way to go, no strings attached that way, unless one the fuckboys wants to keep my gstring. Which is a request I regularly get.

Sorry to say but that’s pretty fowl if you only want fuck boys , aren’t you worried about STD’s? I know people that have them and it’s absolutely disgusting and they are sadly ruined for life because they would just fuck whoever they found attractive , Don’t get me wrong , I love sex , but I only love sex with a girl that only wants sex with me , not a girl that has been around the block a bunch of times that’s classified as a whore. I don’t care how attractive someone looks if they don’t have morals and sleeping around like it’s no big deal then she isn’t the girl for me period , Of I ended up ducking a girl like that , I would be more disappointed then happy and my ass would be going to the doctors to get tested for STD’s , Not worth it my hand is safer

00 Reply I live off of cheesy romantic activities. Those lovey dovey texts, poems, slow dancing, candlight, starlight. I live for it
I miss it greatly

Nowadays yes because I know I want to fall in love gain but finding the right girl hasn’t been easy these days , Most girls I meet are on it for the short haul basically , they love you in the beginning and things are great bet then all of a sudden they get bored of you and trade you in for someone else , Selfish whores I tell ya

The younger I was the more hopelessly romantic I was. The older I get, I've lived life, I have a wife, I have a college degree, I have a job, I have a mortgage, I have kids, I have in-laws, I pay taxes, I see the raunchy hook up culture... etc. I grow less and less romantic as I get older.
00 Reply 1K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I am definitely a romantic. Not hopeless, though.
Auto perhaps more romantic than some because I do enjoy occasional romance movies. I love Pride and Prejudice though.10 Reply523 opinions shared on Relationships topic. I am not Dear.

@lafemmefatale_1
I think I did not explain properly. I apologize.
What I meant is I am romantic in my own ways but not too much. However, that does not matter either.
I am not hopeless romantic. How I manage not to be?
That is tough to explain and that has a lot to do with my thought process on the whole and I have always been single so whatever romantic side is present in me I will never get a chance to show that. That is why I said earlier it does not matter.
That's okay I am just saying.
+1 yI’m supposed to say yes. But my preferences and stances piss a lot of people off on here. Not very welcoming.
