Why don't people realiz that being "in a relationship" or "being married", is literally just people settling?

Uh, then why do divorces happen 75% of the time

Love isn't necessarily static. People change.

And if they divorce, that's literally NOT settling? Settling would be the whatever % that should divorce but don't.

Divorcing literally frees them to continue pursuing love.

No? Staying in a relationship takes work and adaptation. You only settle if you give up and don't work towards what you want.

That can mean working through issues or it can mean cutting loose a bad fit.

Some people are real marriage oriented, so to them it isn't really settling. But of course not everyone is that marriage oriented.
