i havnt met a man who would like me for being me. i am old fashion. i love old things like old literature and still live like a mixture of British posh and french posh. as i was raised by posh old french people and posh old British people. i know fluent french and English and am french raised in lodon. honesly i dont think any man would like or understand someone like me.

Changing yourself just to be accepted by others will always backfire, as we won't be able to maintain the facade forever. By being true to yourself, only those who are drawn to people like you will be drawn to you, so you won't waste your time going down a path that won't take you where you want to go.

I realize my living on a farm isn't something most women would find attractive, but living here is what soothes and comforts me, while giving me challenges that lead to accomplishments. In the past, I've attempted to fit into other people's lives, yet I always felt like a fish out of water. Would I like to have someone to share my life with? Sure, I would, but I've experienced the results of settling, and it really isn't worth it. When my divorce was final, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders.

People aren't going to knock on your door and say you're perfect, so it's important to associate with others who are similar to you, so they learn you exist. Discover where these people hang out and then get involved in that circle. Someone will rise out of the crowd. Life isn't all about being in a relationship. I am significantly happier now than I was while married. Just make sure your life has meaning, and you continue to grow and accomplish.

Oddly, that sounds like a wonderful woman to me. Especially if she (you) dresses in the old school posh way.

Often times people can’t meet somebody good for them because they don’t leave their social circle. I’m quite confident you can.

I was selfish,

arrogant,

emotionally unavailable,

hard to commit,

careless,

spit fire

and a walking Red Flag,

but my ex loved me the way I was and that made me want to become a better person for him, so he could experience my gentlest and softest side, because he deserved it.

He loved me at my worst and I wanted to love him at my best.

I would stay true to who I am. Don’t compromise yourself just to find a guy. And it’s always possible that you will meet that rare guy who understands you.

Yes, no woman is worth changing who I am at my core. No person, man or woman should EVER do that for the opposite gender. It's a recipe for disaster. You'll start to hate yourself for it and it'll eventually lead to you resenting them. Don't do it!
