i miss him so much… it’s been over a year since we have talked and been apart and i am realizing that i want to be with him and it was a huge mistake leaving him. do i reach out and let him know i miss him or is it too late?

What’ve you got to lose.. not much. If you reach out and tell him you miss him, he will either say he misses you aswell, in which case that’s great, or he’ll say he’s not interested, in which case that changes nothing. Or if you don’t reach out, that changes nothing again. So either way, there’s not much to lose. You may aswell reach out.
