What should I do, please help me?

My s/o of 13 years is behaving very strangely these last several months. He has never displayed this behavior until this year. He was convinced all of his electronics were hacked (TV, phone), he was convinced he was being watched. He was convinced he was seeing “codes” in news/entertainment articles online. He was making connections that weren’t there and believing delusions. He said someone was flying drones over his house at night and keeping tabs on his property. He was so convinced, that he threw his phone in a body of water. He ended up going to a crisis center, however information was not released to me. So I don’t know if he was on drugs or if it’s schizophrenia or something else.

Several weeks passed and he seemed to come back down to earth. He got a completely new phone, and I no longer saw any unusual behavior.

Over the last few days, I’ve witnessed concerning things. He said someone hacked his new phone, and someone’s telling him things that they see through his camera. He’s got the camera part of his new phone taped up.
I asked him to provide proof that these things are happening, because he gets angry when I tell him he needs to get mental help, but he won’t provide any proof. And he doesn’t believe he needs mental help. He believes he needs legal help for whoever is “hacking” his phone.
I don’t know what to do. I can’t live like this, and I can’t subject my child to this behavior. Do I leave him? What do I do?

He's at least partly right, we're all being watched! Even if you turn your phone, computer and t. v. off, they can still watch you! It's one of the biggest reasons I either don't use a screen that has a camera on it or, I keep the camera covered.

He definitely has a mental disorder. You need professional advice. I’m not sure who you should call. You might start with your own physician or any psychological professional.

Is he on drugs? And I think it’s in his best interest to seek help. And I do think you need to leave that situation and take your kid until he does get help.
