I interviewed for a position almost a yr ago & never heard back from the recruiter even after following up. The recruiter reaches out to me again to schedule an interview & didn’t even bring up the fact that I interviewed for it before. It’d be an internal transfer, the interview was supposed to be for 30 min & lasted maybe around 20-25, the person that interviewed me gave the timeframe for when I’d hear back from the recruiter (gabby). And she ended it all with it “you’ll be hearing back from Gabby”. I think that’s just a recap but wanted opinion

Honestly you should’ve brought up that they interviewed you before and asked them why they made the decision to call you back in again. Sometimes companies do this if they are in desperate need because the position is lacking. Not only is it an interview for them but it’s an interview for you, you need to stand up for yourself and say “hey that wasn’t really nice” but in a formal way.
When it comes to jobs & recruiters, they’re held to a different standard. They should obviously know better but don’t ever expect them to bend backwards for you
@asker it’s not about bending backwards, it’s about knowing your worth. A company shouldn’t be treating you like a back burner opportunity
It doesn't really sound good or bad, you didn't give any details on his the interview went.
