Doable. Depending on how much he makes. You're going back to work. Childcare for three kids is expensive. If you're still in the 40k range that's going to be food stamps for childcare. If you're up in the 80k range by then way different. Of course if you want to live in LA/NYC that's far more expensive than Fargo.

I'm working on getting up there in the salary range where having a kid or kids would be ideal and so is my boyfriend. By the end of 2024, I anticipate both of us making close to 80k-100k combined.

That's true and that's the point of this. To have goals and objectives in mind for the next 9 years of my life. I don't think it will go exactly according to plan but I do think I may get fairly close especially career wise.

Well I didn't plan on this relationship happening so there's that. I put fell in love in 2023 not with the intention that I would but that I did and now that marriage is on the table for us, I can see it going that way easily. As far as the babies go, it's something that I would like but I know it may not go that way. I know none of it may not go the way I've planned it out to be but having some kind of plan is better than not having one at all.

I'm prepared for if things don't go the way I've mapped out exactly but I do hope that it does happen one day. I may not get three kids. I may only get one. I may not get married as soon as I would like and that's also okay but as long as I get it some day, I will be fine with that.

If that’s genuinely your mindset then good on you, but I do believe this plan is far too ambitious. Having a general plan for your life is the adult thing to do, but to this extent is a lot.

It is inconsistent here as well. Everyone says the change of seasons is nice but I would be happier with a shorter winter. In 2009 it got warm in March and stayed warm though October. That to mee was perfect.

That does sound perfect. We rarely have weather like that here. It's either really hot or really cold. And that's in the same week. I hate it. Would love to live in Los Angeles where the weather is pretty consistent and mostly sunny all the time.

okay- I got into IT later in life. I was almost 40 years old. The government keeps statistics on people that try to change jobs after 40. It is only one in ten that actually do it. I am not exceptional and it was a hard thing to do but somehow I did it and so can you.

It might i was promoted a couple times at my job. Just do your best to be able to fill the role above you in your current position with full respect to the people there, just be helpful and patient and I’m sure when the time comes it will be handed down to you
