The better things to be well versed in many things or know people who are, so you know what to do or at least know someone else who does, then you can go from there
problems do cost money...
I don't prefer any of that
Everything has a cost. We just want to determine if the cost makes sense to us or not. Yes, there will be a cost to maintain your car, but ignoring the maintenance and procrastinating as the noise gets louder will definitely cost you more. Unless forced into it, how many people do you know who sought out premarital therapy or pre-children therapy or pre-significant change in your life therapy. Therapy may cost more in the short-term but has the ability to make things more cost effective in the long-term, especially if your goal is to learn effective tools rather than just expect the other to change.

but, since I am in business... I usually refer as a cost to something that might not bring or represent/reflect a profit... I consider it an investment
if it's costing me, it is hurting me (financially)... lol
I've a friend with a small carpentry business. 90% of his work is putting right peoples fuck ups.
