I think it's better the first one (being cautious) because it's hard to turn back the time and it's harder to recover from certain regrets in life if you know what I mean..

I like to take it slow in a calm matter. And, this is not always possible with some people.-This is often why a third party presence is required... if they are serious about settling the Issue (s) at hand. So, the first issue is for all people to be on an even keel, proper language, and not emotionally reactive. Secondly, slow the heck down and address ONE thing. Do not barrage anyone with all your mental anguish whether it is in person, text, email, and/or verbally. ALL PEOPLE will run in the opposite direction when this occurs... especially guys. Finally, there are no quick fixes and often no fix at all especially when genetic and personality ingrained...
I think it's better to be cautious and calculated. Sometimes a wrong choice can change your entire life. Besides we can't turn back in time, so we might as well do what's right or better.

Take it slow and be cautious. No need to be in a rush, because that's when mistakes are made.
