When was the last time someone made you feel truly special, and what did they do to make you feel that way?

I go swimming a few times per week and children somehow naturally love me and people pretty much instantly trust me.
So they'll want to play games with me like chasing them or playing catch with them and their parents.
Two weeks ago a mother was there with her young daughter (around 3-4 years old).
There's a rapids there and she would come floating by with her floaties and her mom right behind her. Everytime she'd reach for me.
On one pass she grabbed my arm and pulled herself in and hugged my arm.
Her mom smiled and apologized.
I told her it's fine and smiled at the girl.
Her mom tried to take her with her but she hugged me tighter and called me daddy.
If I tell you I melted 😅
I have a type brain damage and can't really work, so the chances of me having kids of my own is slim to none.
And I couldn't really do many activities.
It just wouldn't be responsible to me.
So the fact that kids love me and their parents trust me to interact with them makes up for it.
I hugged the girl with permission of the mom and told her to go with mommy.
She smiled and said okay.
The rest of the passes was giggles and high fives.
These interactions with people and their kids make my weekly swimming that much more enjoyable.

I am not saying I do feel special myself... I mean it is truly a special and rewarding feeling to know that I made a difference in their lives, and this exactly why I keep doing it, tutoring

Recently, throughout Sep. and half of Oct. It was a guy I was kind of dating or sth who made me feel really beautiful and wanted. O don't have issues with these in general (I get called beautiful or pretty or sth and get hit on often enough), but it hits differently when it comes from someone you like or love. Any time (3 people so far) I really liked or was in love with someone, they made me feel special in their own ways.

But there are two other times when I wasn't in love or when the context wasn't even similar when I also felt special. One was an older guy who was a frequent customer where I used to work as a student. He told me he could see in my eyes that I was good. (Not in a creepy way, we were talking about my colleage that was a bi*ch). And the other one was a guy I had a short casual thing with who was the first guy ever (and the only one so far) that stared at my boobs like he was seeing boobs for the first time in his life (he wasn't, by the way).
