The other day, I had to sit in on interviews for the new kindergarten teacher at my work. I talked my former assistant into applying and met her for dinner a few days before to review questions and answers for the interview.

When asked why she'd like to work on the kindergarten team, she paid me with the most heartfelt of compliments. I truly didn't expect that - I had no idea how much of an impact my friendship had on her and I stand by the saying kindness always counts. 🙂
