They Don’t Really Talk Things Out: If your partner always dodges real talks or just shuts down when things get serious, that's not a great sign. Communication is super important.

They Kinda Disrespect You: This can be little jabs, rolling their eyes at your ideas, or just making you feel small. Not cool at alll

Too Much Control: If they're always on your case about where you're going, who you're with, or even what you're wearing, that's major control freak behaviorr (it's soo bad)

Jealous Overdrive: A bit of jealousy is normal, but if they’re going overboard, like freaking out if you just talk to someone else, that’s a red flag totallyy

Trust Issues: If you or they can't trust each other, it’s like trying to build a house on sand. Just doesn't work so much.

Liar, Liar: We’re not talking about little white lies here. If they’re constantly making stuff up, how can you trust anything they say?

Boundaries? What Boundaries?: If they don’t respect your personal space, privacy, or choices, that’s a big no-no.

Short Fuse: If they lose their temper at the drop of a hat or worse, get aggressive, that's scary and definitely not okay.

Substance Issues: If drinking or drugs are getting in the way of your relationship, that’s something serious.

Any Kind of Abuse: This one’s obvious but has to be said. Any form of abuse, whether it’s emotional, physical, or verbal, is a huge red flag.

Cutting You Off from People: If they're trying to isolate you from your friends and family, that's a classic bad sign.

Gaslighting: Ever feel like they're trying to make you question your own memory or sanity? That’s gaslighting, and it’s a form of emotional manipulation.

Nothing You Do is Right: If they’re constantly criticizing you and never seem happy with anything you do, it wears you down.

My Way or the Highway: If it’s always their way, no compromise, that’s not a partnership, that’s a dictatorship.

Always trust your gut – if something feels off, it probably is. And don't remember, it’s ok to reach out to friends, family, or even a professional if u need advice.
