Because you're manipulative. You might even be toxic to the point that this is how you view love. To some people love is entirely about control. They don't even realize how not normal and toxic that is. But to many of those people it's learned behavior. They simple don't know what a healthy loving interaction is.

The best thing you can do with somebody like this is just extract yourself completely from their life. Try not to take anything they've done personal. Because you can dmfind somebody loving and be happy. I promise you, they never will.
