Is it bad that my boyfriend is visiting his cousin without me?

So I asked him if he wanted me to come to visit his cousin. He said he'd just go on ahead and go by himself. I'm like ok then, but my mom was like "why didn't he invite you". I didn't really see a problem. I asked could I come, he said I could but I guess he'll just go by himself.

I think you have to give him the freedom to see his family without you around unless you feel that he needs to be maintained with your presence because a lot of people have secrets they do not feel comfortable sharing with those that are not their natural birth family. One example is that I have a cousin on my mom's side who had an abortion, that is not something you could discuss with people outside the family cause it would be criticized by many religious people who hear about it. Also if I'm alone with my family I can complain about how I'm angry my dad did not buy enough food for my diet when he was at the grocery store, while somebody not in my family might say I'm being spoiled and should buy my own food. I've even had pastors tell me I'm a bad person for not moving out of the house at the age of 19 and supporting myself independently when I was a full time university student, cause in his culture moving out at 19 is perfectly common while in my culture you only move out after you graduate and have enough money for bills. I've had people tell me I'm selfish because I cared more about grades then I did about working while going to school full time, and they thought I lacked independence while I thought I was investing in my career so I could go have a better future later on.

I don't think you should be overthinking it this hard. I guess this particular time he wanted to go by himself, maybe even talk about some things with his cousin that he wanted between them.

Yeah, my cousin growing up who is now my wife. Yeah, no. Her father is the is the brother of my mom, she was younger than me and I noticed that one summer when she was 15 she had really filled out especially in the breast area. We grew up together, and she grew up hot, you know. She fuckin' grew up hot and all of my friends were trying to fuck her, you know, and I wasn't...
