What is going on with my husband?

We got married in August. It was an amazing ceremony. Both of us are and were extremely happy. But on his ex's birthday he visited her Instagram and liked a reel.(she's a nature photographer)

To be clear she wasn't a girlfriend ever. just a girl he crushed on since high school. he was in love with her for over a decade. They were in contact all this time but never got together. He was quite hung up on her as I've heard from other people. But she got married last year. I kinda think that it was right after she got married that he made our relationship public. I don't know maybe I'm overthinking.

After September there was no instance like that. I'm sure. But could that be worrisome? Maybe just nostalgia? It'll get better Right?

It low-key should've been an eye opening to you that he's been emotionally attached to her for so long, sounds like the choices he's making is for her and not you but that can just be the negative in me speaking, don't worry about problems that dont exist until they become a reality.

It seemed like he's over her. And he never mention d her perhaps because he never actually dated her. She's divorced now. But he doesn't seem sad about anything. He seems perfectly happy with us. I am too. He always writes about me and us.

Why are you referring to her as his ex when she was never his girlfriend?

I don't know how to refer to her. All I know is he was crazy in love with her and they had a good connection and communication. He never mentioned her to me but some of his friends slipped by accident.

It seem like anxiety and insecurity, he is your husband after all.. it should be okay to have a safe space to talk about concerns of what you heard and what you saw… so you won’t have to wonder and know the truth.

Yeah I was worried he's thinking about her, but now I feel that maybe she was just in a friend recommendation and he just went into see out of curiosity.
