I'm not fatalistic. I believe love is what we choose to create and nurture together. People often want to take the easy way, primarily focusing on their expectations of others rather than looking at their own role in moving them forward or stagnating. We only have control over our own choices. Focusing on what others should do will only lead to frustration and disappointment. If I don't see a desire from my partner to be a team player, then I lose interest in that person.

You can read "The Secret" and then just sit around believing your dreams will come true, or you can take action to raise the likelihood of your dreams becoming reality. How many people do you know who were successful at what was important to them, by just sitting around waiting for it to be handed to them on a silver platter? We can set the stage. We can influence the situation. We can measure our progress. Expecting to turn others into puppets to provide what you feel entitled to receive will never succeed.

A big part of live is making CHOICES that are conducive to making the relationship healthy (not being an attention whore, not fucking around, not posting hoe pics online, being mentally monogamous). This is exactly where social media KILLS relationships.

That's actually a good question, I think that depends, some women have such unique personalities that shooting your shot would be the best way to go to have the least chance of that opportunity slipping but I also believe love can be found naturally.
