My boyfriend have adhd. I once asked him is texting boring for him and he said "yea... and its kinda overwhelming for me but we can't do anything about this". so i was thinking of ways to make it something interesting for him but i have no idea. we can't go out dates every weekend cause my parents are kinda strict and they dont know that im dating someone. so can anyone suggest me what to do?
Maybe you could call him instead.
I do get easily overwhelmed by texts too.
I have lots of unread messages from my friends and extended family. It will take me some time to feel like texting them back.
I’m dating someone with adhd currently and the best thing is to get together in person. One Catch though, scheduling something could be slow and draining. You’ll probably get a lot of “busy with this and that” but when you finally meet up, it’s a blast
It has to be dates, that should fix it when u eventually tell your parents. Until then ask if calling or video calling is better for him
