there's this guy i met in theatre & he's so funny and talented and i was like "ugh i need to be his friend!" he took me and my friend somewhere and from that day we kinda hung out for a bit and became friends but i don't know if im just like in awe of him (he's reallyyy good at singing, he's funny, and can draw) or if i like him (i get so excited when he's around and can't stop thibking about him, I think his singing voice is rlly attractive) but i think he kinda feels the same things i do (he comes up to me all the time, smiles at me, says im funny and talented, likes all my opinions, says I'm his favorite, etc) about him so please help haha what's going on here

It sounds like there could be something more than just a platonic friendship developing here. Some signs point to you possibly catching feels:
- Getting super excited and not able to stop thinking about him are classic crush behaviors.
- Finding his singing voice/talents attractive goes beyond just admiring him as a friend.
- The fact he seeks you out, compliments you a lot and says you're his favorite hints he may be into you too. Guys don't usually do all that for just a friend.
But it's also totally possible you just really click as pals and appreciate his skills/humor on a deep level platonically. The line can get blurry sometimes!
My advice would be to just roll with it for now, keep enjoying your time together, and see what develops naturally. Don't force labels on it. If you think there could be more to explore, maybe subtly test the waters and see how he reacts.
But for now, try not to overthink it and stress. You guys seem to have a real good thing going. Just follow your feelings and see where this theater bromance leads - it could turn out to be the start of something awesome!
you can't tell yourself?
No, that's why I asked
well for one thing there is no "platonically attracted"
