Has my partner takes about it with him? Perhaps asked for him blessing or something and I don’t know?

Some people are stupid like that. I had an ex girlfriend who did the same thing. She used to call my mother her mother in law. I can remember one weekend we went to visit my mother and she is a very snobbish type of well to do woman. She lives in the expensive part of town etc. Anyway, my girlfriend was on the phone to someone and she said “I’m at my mother in law’s house”. My mother flipped her shit. She just yells out “excuse me? I am not your fucking mother in law”. My ex apologised and explained that’s just how she sees it and my mother just flat asked her what year of high school my ex reached. It was very awkward.
Nah. This is different. However, what you’re saying is still true.
He's probably excited for you guys to get married. That or he doesn't want to have to say (insert name here)'s parents are blah blah blah. In-laws is shorter.
It wasn’t in terms of him being excited, it was in terms of an argument that happened between my father and I about my current relationship.
Ah... well maybe he knows something you don't. Maybe your partner is gonna propose soon.
That’s what I’m thinking. My whole family in general has been treating this relationship more seriously than usual and they are more protective in this relationship compared to my other relationships. I asked my partner why my dad is calling his parents my in-laws and then my partner went silent for a bit and then said “Hmm, yeah that’s interesting. I don’t know.”
Can I PM you about this, if that’s okay with you? Or, would you just like to help me out here?
You can PM me!
Thanks!
I think you have to follow me back to allow PMs.
