Boyfriend won't answer my question just keeps responding with a question?

So I keep a tight watch on all my boyfriends because I've been cheated on before so I go through their phones when I can and check their search history etc and I noticed lately his instagram search history is empty so I confronted him and asked "why is your instagram search history clear?" and he just responded with "why are you checking my search history?" and I told him that's not the issue here and asked him again and he responded with the same question and won't budge what does this mean and what do I do?

To clarify he's never cheated on me (that I know of) but keeping an eye on his DMs etc is way to make sure he never does.

If he has cheated on you, and you have forgiven him, that doeesn't give you the right to control him or snoop through all his personal info. If you don't trust him, then you shouldn't be with him, full stop.

But I would say, he does have a duty to you now, in order to gain your trust. That he must tell you what he is doing, and what time he will be home, if you are living together. He needs to be a man of his word with you. That's the only thing he should be doing in the relationship, and really wants to with you long term.

Stop snooping. He probably knows you're doing it, so he's cleared it to catch you up, which he did.

Stop the childishness and quit being a controlling snoop. You have NO right to do what you’re doing. Your boyfriend didn’t cheat on you. You need to stop punishing him for what someone else did.
