Agree with other dude that you get to a certain point and wonder why you're wasting your time with this crap anymore. If you don't find "it" by a certain point, you're likely not going to find it, and you're just risking an STD by staying in the game. Quit while you're ahead and stew in your own company. I largely have. I think that's just natural as you get older. It's not really that you stop having romantic feelings. It's that you've seen ALL of the opposite genders tricks. You realize at this point when she's genuine vs. Gaming you. And you realize when she's just phoning it in. And by this age her phone has largely stopped ringing. So her options are pretty limited, both of you know that. The dynamic flips after 40. Women start pursuing men. Those that don't generally remain single.
