What if you were living with a guy in your apartment for a year and a half, then one day he says "We see the world differently" and leaves?

We were still good until about August. The lady that comes over to do my chores for me met Patrick here. She is married but that doesn't matter anymore if your a cheater. Anyway as time went on, he used to call her kiddo, then he started calling her My Dear and that's when my gut said he was going to dump me for her. They would stand in the doorway laughing 🤗😂🤣🤭 and having a good old time together. She didn't even come in to say hello to me anymore when I was sick in bed. Money is all she wanted from me.
Whenever she would do my laundry in the laundry room in our apartment building, right after she left, he would leave and go to be with her. He really liked her and I know they were having sex. But two days before he died, I guess they were having sex in one of the empty apartments here. He comes in my place and was all freaked out yelling "I am never talking to that woman again! She stinks really bad and has bad b. o. and even her perfume stinks. And her hair looks like weeds". Then he went on to say the only woman that doesn't stink is you (meaning me).
That's one thing he couldn't deal with, a smelly pussy. He was so clean. Took two showers a day.
I told her what he said about her. She just said "Well, what did he expect, I was working all day".
She lied to me and said he wasn't her type, they only talked a few times, blah blah blah!
So he died and she didn't get him and neither did I.

Well, what's better, him telling you he's leaving or him leaving and just assuming you knew all along and THEN he tells you he''s been seeing someone else? (That's, basically, what happened to me! I thought we were still a couple and then, she drops the fucking bomb and tells me she's planning on marrying some other guy!)
I used to know a girl that got 3 showers a day! She wakes up, gets a shower, goes to work. Comes home, gets a shower, goes out to a party. Comes home well after midnight, gets a shower, goes to bed. Wakes up, gets a shower, goes to work, etc.. For me, that takes up at least 3 hours of my day!! Especially in winter; I can't go anywhere until my hair dries, about 45:00. I lived with her for a few weeks and I rarely ever saw her.
I don't think I've ever met a girl that smelled as bad as he said she did.
In any case, he doesn't sound like anyone you deserved or should've been with in the first place. Like I've said, girls have shit taste in men!! Either that or they NEED an abusive asshole to have someone to cry about when they eventually break up or excuses to do so!
