What Girls Said
People say that women are receivers and men are givers and I would say that both men and woman are givers and both men and women are receivers, it's just one might receive more and one might give more. So I think when a guy appreciates my time and words and behaviours and signs of kindness and affection, that would make me feel happy with our relationship. Like my friends do physical things to help me like give me rides to work or buy me gifts during holidays, but our friendship is based on the emotional support we give each other. It's not based on the fact we like the same types of movies or play the same types of sports, or enjoy the same type of recreational games or like the same types of food, or are enjoy the same type of self help authors etc... Just like a grandparent can have a loving relationship with their grand child when the two have nothing in common with each other beyond the fact they love each other.
