I think it's a mistake for at least two reasons. First of all, that's only going to make a difference with women who are interested in guys for what the guys can do for them, and since they're opportunists, they'll always be on the outlook for someone who is willing to give them more. That isn't the kind of women you want.
Second, it keeps intangibles like personality, values, character, and common interests from being the decisive factors, and those things really matter for compatibility and durability in a relationship. It also shows you don't think you have anything else useful to offer in a relationship.
My exact sentiments too.
The feeling of security is very important if you want to start a family. But it shouldn't be based on one partner only. It's a great responsibility, and both partners should contribute. Because accidents happen and even one partner should be able to cover basic living.
If a guy tries to catch a woman showing how reliable he is and not expecting her to contribute to the relationship... it's asking for trouble...
Having a career and a good salary is a great achievement. But this shouldn't be the only or even the main reason to create a relationship with a guy. If we want the relationship to last, there must be much more. We create relationships with minds, not wallets and appearances.
1. Yes it's a mistake, because all of those things can be lost in a day regardless of the man. So if those are why a woman married the man, then she will be gone when those are gone.
2. Based on how you specifically worded this, it can be morally justifiable as long as the woman is willing to stay married and supportive during any hardships. It's just kind of silly if she is actually thinking of it in the way that you described it.
It's not a mistake but it will obviously be a fake relationship (a transactional one). Andrew Tate has brought this up in one of his podcasts. Here's the segment.
https://youtu.be/mISAcyMw1jU?si=Cb1FARwmy9Ql5I5CThere's nothing wrong with not dating broke boys, who are on the verge of homelessness and are not doing anything to prevent it. If girls start dating these broke boys, who are on the verge of homelessness and they pop kids with him, they'll have kids set up for failure in life like I used to be.
If it's fake then it must be a mistake then. I don't understand your point.

I think it's shallow and superficial to make things about money like this...
vapid, as well
now, financial stability to provide for a family.. is actually necessary for anyone who wants to start a family
the mistake for anyone, man or woman... would be to start having babies when you can't even support yourself
It's certainly more attractive than say a broke guy with no job and no prospects. I mean if any girl is going to settle down with a guy and maybe have his kids she needs to know the rent/mortgage can be paid. A wife is supposed to be a good helper to her husband but if he can't provide then she will have a hard time.
Not alone but a man should try to build himself up. If you want a good woman you will have to be going somewhere in life for her to invest or already be there.
I don't believe that. I believe a b*&% is more focused on lifestyle but a good woman is a helper and will help the man instead of looking for what you have for me in the bag type of mentality if you desire me in your life.
In such case I don't want that woman anyways.
I don't give a damn how pretty she is neither..
Not talking about even pretty women. If you want a good woman you have to attract her to you, you are in competition with other men so you your best option is to be the best you can be. So that means being in good shape, having a decent education, decent job, decent earnings, decent savings, dress well, have his own place etc
“Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense.” (Proverbs 12:11)
Yeah, having a job and carrying their own weight should be enough for her.
A woman looking for a certain lifestyle off the back and sweat of another can hell off and go provide her own lifestyle.
That's common sense. We all desire the best we can get, not less.
It’s morally justified women look for men who provide.
I understand that but does it has to be a certain amount money she's looking for that man to make justified?
Example he needs to make at least $50,000 a year or he can get lost justified?
Well does well lifestyle mean to you?
No, it may be shallow if that’s the only thing you’re fixated on, but I like to show a girl a good time, and stability is an important factor for girls.
I think everyone has certain traits. Being rich is one of them. a person can use whatever advantages he has to get what he wants
No its not a mistake. I think these are also self impose such limits as well upon proper men.
Too many broken women, jump the ship end up raising the child themselves.
