Why do men brag about using money to attract women?

I have a net worth well into the six-figure category and it's increasing annually. The last person on earth that I want to date is someone who is drawn to my money. And a similar thing goes for many of my work colleagues. I just find the idea of someone showing interest in me due to my wallet to be one of the biggest turn offs and the biggest disqualifiers within the dating. I don't want to have any doubt in my mind that my partner loves me for who I truly am and not my wallet.

Many guys over the internet don't seem to understand this. They're elated thinking that having a lot of money will attract tons of women. But have you ever thought about the moment where you lose your money? will she still be standing there next to you? will she find no longer find you as appealing as before?

A woman who is looking to only date rich men, will not stay with you once you lose your money. And I have seen it happen before to a lot of dumb guys who lost their assets in the 2008 financial crisis. When the lost their wealth, they also lost their wives.
