Men would you accept being a single father if the woman doesn't want nor care about your baby?

Let's say you were in a relationship or marriage. Then it became toxic suddenly.

Scenerio: Ok so the woman doesn't abort your child. However, she tells you that she'll leave you and will give up the baby after giving birth unless you want the baby but that means you'll be a single father. She tells you "I don't want nor care about the baby, I'm leaving".

Would you accept being a single father if the woman doesn't want nor cares for your baby?

I'm confused abortion exists... why go through the pain of pregnancy if you didn't care. And no she can send it Abu Dhabi for all I care that's her choice and say's more about her than me who will have already openly expressed way beforehand I don't want a kid, and would of just got an abortion.

I went to college with this goofy chick that told me that, if she ever got pregnant, she'd take the newborn to the river and drown it!! WHY? Either put it up for adoption or get an abortion!! And her dad & brother owned a local famous car dealership!! Their commercials were on t. v. at least once an hour!!

Yes, and I would probably stay a single father. Because I don't know if I could trust another woman after that. Certainly I wouldn't trust my judgement of women again after that. How did I ever misread a woman's character so badly as to pick a woman who'd do such a thing?

Absolutely. At least I'd be very disappointed in myself from an ethical perspective if I didn't. I will take on the full responsibility over my child's well-being if she doesn't want to share in that responsibility.

I will try to keep the door open as well if she ever wants to re-enter her child's life. I have my shortcomings but I'll try to resolve whatever conflicts I have with the biological mother and let her re-enter her child's life if only for our child's well-being.

It's deeply important to me personally that I make a decent and responsible father so unlike my own; ideally a decent and responsible husband on top but above all, a decent father. Everything I strive to be is motivated by that mindset.

The other choice would be allowing her to give the baby up for adoption. That's the two choices she's giving you, she either gives the baby to you or to another family.
