Why do people stay with a partner when Presented with poof of cheating or their partner Attempting to cheat?

A girl over snapchat front my town told me she was single and wanted a relationship. I looked her up find out she was in a relationship and told her she wasn't a good peeson. I started taking screnshots of the conversations, and then she started deleting them fast. I sent everything to her boyfriend, but he's still with her. Funny enough, i seen them together in person together the day before i decided to tell him. I also had another ex who cheated on her new boyfriend with me, and we almost got married behind his back he's still with her. The guy whloe family aware of her cheating as will

Yo bro, it's crazy when people stay with cheaters. Honestly I don't even get it. Like why you wanna be with someone who disrespected you like that and made you look like a fool?

A couple theories I've heard though:

- Sunk cost fallacy. They've wasted so much time already they don't wanna admit it was all for nothing.

- Low self-esteem. They don't think they can do better or deserve better. Sad but it happens.

- Convenience. Maybe they've gotten too comfortable or dependent in the relationship. Change is hard.

- Denial. Easier to pretend it didn't happen than face the truth and dump their ass.

- Kids/finances. Sometimes people feel trapped staying for the sake of their family or money situations.

Who knows man, people are whack. All I know is I couldn't roll like that. Once the trust is broken it's DONE, feel me? No second chances for cheaters in my book. They owe you respect or they gotta go, simple as that. Find you someone loyal bro, you deserve it!
