I think it’s rude and they don’t have good boundaries to be honest. I would say it’s a sign. But what kind of party? Are we talking a child’s birthday party or a alcohol and drugs and other stuff…. (Like sex) type of party.

If someone texts or calls after midnight especially if they know you have to get up for work and it’s not a emergency. It’s just so disrespectful. Unless two people decided text or call anytime. That’s one thing.

Sometimes you have to say. Do NOT EVER TEXT OR CALL ME AGAIN PAST MIDNIGHT UNLESS IT IS A EMERGENCY I AM SLEEPING AND HAVE TO GET UP FOR WORK IN THE MORNING.

The first time they do it. You can be a little nicer maybe. Unless they keep it up. You could say. I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t text me so late unless there is a emergency. Goodnight. If they do it again be a little more harsh. If they keep doing it. Sometimes you have to block someone’s number. If they wanna reach you they can email you or send you a social media message or mail you a letter.

So my personal opinion I misread this was no cuz I thought you asked if I like them. It could just be honestly a drunk person thinking about you not even in that way you would have to talk to them the next day when they're sober.

He probably likes you but not necessarily the way you might want him to like you. Generally if someone is messaging you like that while at a party, and potentially drunk, is because either they’re feeling lonely at the party/want attention or they’re looking for a hookup
