What’s your opinion on orbiting?

Most of us have been guilty of cyberstalking from time to time, especially with old flames! But isn’t the general rule to do this quietly, without leaving a digital footprint? Not watching stories, not liking posts, not doing anything to draw attention to yourself.

When someone does make it known, by liking your posts (a lot of them immediately after upload), do you think that they are trying to grab your attention? Or is it totally meaningless. What purpose would this serve other than to try and draw attention to yourself?

Honestly, "orbiting" like that seems kinda lame and attention-seeky to me. Like, if you're not together anymore then people need to just move on, ya know?

If some guy was lurking all over my social media and immediately liking every post, I'd definitely think he was still tryna get my attention for some reason. Why else would he be so obvious about checking up on me all the time?

He's probably not fully over things and hoping I'll notice him lurking so we'll start talking again or something. But come on, have some chill! If he really wants back in, he needs to work on it in a smoother, less desperate way.

I'd be kinda weirded out by someone doing that honestly. Seems like they're not respecting my space if we're not dating anymore. Just sayin - people need to let things be in the past sometimes.
