He got extremely pissed off at me on Monday for messaging him, when he said he is busy. I apologized 3 times, but he said he is going to punish me... meaning no calls, no texts, no meeting till he decides when. Yesterday I asked him for how long. He replied "till I calm down, till you learn how to not be so annoying" At night I got extremely anxious and asked him a simple question "did you water the plants?"... he has put off read receipts and basically was reading everything. Anyway... I didn't realize that till I called him and his phone was on silent. He didn't answer back. Sent him another message to beg for a short phone call. Still no answer. I finally wrote him "don't do that to me, if you don't want to talk, just say". I'm sure he has read it. At this point I don't know what to do...

Oh, love, it seems like you've stumbled into quite the tangle here, haven't you? Let's break it down: ghosting vs. playing games. The vibe I'm getting? It's a bit of both, sprinkled with a side of emotional manipulation. If someone's idea of "punishment" in a relationship involves cutting off communication to teach you a lesson, that's not just a red flag; it's a whole parade of them. Communication should be about growth and understanding, not control and penalties.
Here's the tea: Love shouldn't feel like a punishment. Getting "extremely pissed" over reaching out? That's not the foundation of a healthy dynamic. Relationships thrive on communication, respect, and mutual understanding, not on making someone anxious for simply wanting to connect.
So, what to do? Take a step back. Breathe. Reflect on what you truly deserve (hint: it's someone who waters the plants of the relationship with you, not leaves them to wither). Consider reaching beyond this cycle, perhaps even seeking a space where you'll be cherished, not chastised.
Remember, everyone deserves a love story where they're the main character, not the punching bag.
